Srinivas Institute Of Dental Sciences To Be A Part Of Danta Bhagya Scheme

In view of the newly announced "Danta Bhagya" Scheme by the Government of Karnataka under the aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare & AYUSH Services, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences has been made a signatory member to provide free dentures to BPL card holders above 60 years of age. The recognition of the institute highlights its competency in the field of professional, academic & technical proficiency. The Danta Bhagya Yojane is part of the new initiative of the Govt. of Karnataka's Oral Health Policy. An amount of 50,000 has already been transferred to Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences by the state government for 100 dentures. More funds will be released proportionate to the number of dentures made. The institute would cater to the needs of the beneficiaries of Mangaluru North. The institutional head along with the Management have extended their wholehearted support to this initiative in helping the elderly in leading a better life with dentures . Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences extends its wholehearted support with its faculty to provide excellent quality dentures to the beneficiaries.The preliminary work of identifying the beneficiaries is already under progress.
