About Institution

The Vijayalakshmi Institute of Hospitality Sciences (VIHS) was established in the year 2004, with in order to enhance the skill set of individuals looking for a career in the tourism and hotel industry. The institution aims to be a source of skilled manpower to the hotel and allied industries in India and abroad.
Vijayalakshmi Institute of Hospitality Sciences offers three-year Bachelor of Science degrees in the fields of hotel management (B. Sc. (H.S.)) and Interior design and decoration (B. Sc. (ID & D)). Both the Degree programmes are affiliated to Mangalore University, Mangalore. The Institute is located in the Srinivas Campus at the heart of Mangalore city.
