REPORT ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada District Local Branch, Mangalore in association with NSS unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2024. Dr. Anantha Krishna Bhat, President, Saraswathi Education and welfare Trust Meghalaya inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and addressed the gathering. He deliberated extensively on the contribution made by Swami Vivekananda on the society. He had advised the youth to follow the proceedings of Swamiji to lead purposeful, meaningful life with moral values.Dr. A.R.Shabaraya, President, IPA, Mangalore and Principal & Director in his presidential remarks, outlined the Indians in abroad, who are known for their hard work, determination, dedication and their contribution to the development of the society and nation in particular, where they stay and serving.Dr. Shripathy D, Professor and NSS Coordinator outlined the importance of National Youth Day on January 12, welcomed and introduced the guests.Dr. E. V. S Subrahmanyam, Professor & Vice President, IPA, Mangalore and Dr. Krishnananda Kamath, Professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy were present during the programme.Ms. Nireeksh and Ms Vinutha anchored the programme. Ms. Josna Priya Lewis, Student council president proposed vote of thanks.
