Report On World Heart Day

Indian Pharmaceutical Association local Branch, Mangalore in association with Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore has observed “WORLD HEART DAY” on 29th September 2018.

On this occasion, students of Srinivas College of Pharmacy under the guidance of Students Council members organized a programme in the Panambur Beach to attract the attention of general public and highlighted the risks posed by cardiac diseases and suggested preventive measures to lead a healthy life, free from cardiac disorders with sound heart.

Dr. Anitha, Professor of Medicine, Srinivas Medical College Hospital, Mukka was present as the Chief guest and stressed the importance of healthy habits to lead happy life.

Shri. Prithvi Hegde, National Level body builder, inaugurated the Sports events and marathon organized on this occasion.

Dr. A. R. Shabaraya, Principal Srinivas College of Pharmacy and President, IPA, Local branch advised all the students to develop healthy habits, get rid of all unwanted habits to lead a dynamic, Vibrant and successful life

Students in large number participated in the events along with staff members of Srinivas college of Pharmacy and Executive council members of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mangalore were participated in the marathon.

Students council members, Ms. Architha Aithal, Mr.Ganesh Prasad Shenoy, Mr. Kaushik Suvarna, Mr. Nikhil Kamath and Mr. Sudhir Krishna thanked all the invitees, faculty members and participants for the encouraging response they received to organise this event.
