REPORT ON VANAMAHOTSAVA PROGRAMME

The NSS unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada District Local Branch, Mangalore organized Vanamahotsava at Valachil Campus on 22.07.2017. More than 10 saplings of medicinal plants were planted by the staff and students of Srinivas College of Pharmacy. Shripathy.D, NSS Programme officer, Department of Pharmaceutics, Srinivas college of Pharmacy, welcomed the staff and students.

Dr A.R.Shabaraya, Principal and Director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy and President, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada District Local Branch, Mangalore and Dr. E.V.S. Subrahmanyam, HOD and professor Department of pharmachemistry, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore participated in the function and briefed the importance of Vanamahotsava and congratulated staffs and students for their active participation.

NSS Programme officer, Mr. Gopikrishna, Asst.Professor, Dept. of Pharmacognosy, explained the medicinal values of plants. Dr. Ateendra Jha, Asst. Professor, proposed the vote of thanks.
