REPORT ON PROCEEDINGS OF THE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON BASIC COURSE IN EDUCATION METHODOLOGY (LEVEL-I, PHASE-I)

Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore in association Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore & Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) organized two day Faculty Development Programme on Basic Course in Education Methodology (Level-I, Phase-I) on 16th & 17th September 2019.

Dr. Sharan J Shetty, Senate Member, RGUHS, Bangalore was chief guest of the inaugural function. He has advised all the participants to adopt innovative methods in teaching and create interest among the student community.

Dr. A.R.Shabaraya Principal and Director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy has presided over the function and explained the need of creative teaching methods in education.

Dr. Munir Ahmed R, Director, RAATI, Bengaluru and Dr. M.R Attar, Bharatesh HMC, Belagavi were present as resource persons to conduct the programme. Dr. E.V.S Subrahmanyam, Professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy welcomed the guests and introduced the gathering.

Dr. Krishnananda Kamath K, Professor proposed vote of thanks. Mrs Ananya Bhattacharjee and Mr. Indranil Ganguly anchored the programme. Delegates from different Pharmacy colleges of Kerala and Karnataka participated in the programme.

On 17th September 2019, the second day of the programme after completing all the items in the programme, valedictory function was organized, all the participants expressed their happiness about the advantages of organizing such programmes. Certificates of participation were distributed. 30 participants attended the programme.
