INDIAN PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION, MANGALORE IN ASSOCIATION WITH SRINIVAS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, MANGALORE ORGANISED NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “RECENT TRENDS IN REGULATORY AFFAIRS” ON 11th NOVEMBER 2017.

“Regulatory affairs play vital role in pharmaceutical marketing” mentioned Dr. Sangamesh Puranik, Head- Regulatory Affairs, Anthem Bio Sciences Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore while delivering the keynote address in the inaugural function by lighting the lamp at the National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Regulatory Affairs” at Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore organised in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D.K District Local Branch, Mangalore on 11th November 2017.

Dr. A.R.Shabaraya Principal and Director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy and President, IPA, D.K.District Local Branch in his presidential remarks called upon the delegates that novel technology is the need of the day and to prescribe standards, regulatory affairs play vital role and also appreciated the delegates for taking keen interest in the areas of Pharmaceutical industry.

Ms. Meghna D. K, Asst. Manager, Regulatory Affairs, Sequent Scientific Laboratories, Bangalore gave a talk on regulatory approvals for ANDA and generic drugs. Mr. Krishnananda Kamath, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, Srinivas College of Pharmacy gave a talk on SUPAC guidelines.

Dr.Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed, Principal, Yenepoya Pharmacy College, Deralakatte, Mangalore was present. Dr. E.V.S Subrahmanyam, Professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy and Vice President, IPA, D.K. District Local Branch, welcomed and introduced the guests.

Ms. Chaitra & Ms. Vijetha anchored the programme. Mr. Viresh K Chandur proposed vote of thanks. 150 delegates from Pharmacy colleges of D.K district attended the programme.
