NATIONAL PHARMACY EDUCATION DAY AT SRINIVAS

Indian Pharmaceutical Association, local branch Mangalore in association with Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore organised �National Pharmacy Education day on account of 121st Birth Anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff (Father of Indian Pharmacy Education) at Valachil Campus on 6th March 2024.Dr. A.R.Shabaraya, Programme convener of National Pharmacy Education day, President, IPA, Mangalore and Principal, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangalore he conveyed that all pharmacy students should consider 6th March as pharmacy students birthday and all pharmacy students should get inspired by the achievements of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff and should work for the development in pharmacy field.Dr. E. V. S Subrahmanyam, Professor & Vice President, IPA, Mangalore welcomed the gathering and outlined the importance of pharmacy education and also he told about how pharmacy education has evolved. Ms. Josna Priya, M.Pharm student briefed about M.LSchroff�s life and achievements. Dr. Krishnananda Kamath, Professor, department of Pharmaceutics he presented about National Education Policy 2020 and also explained how it can be implemented in pharmacy education. Mr. Vignesh, II D.Pharm he shared his views on how to improve skill among students which is required by Pharma industries. Ms. Yuktha anchored the programme, Mr. Subramanya Pradeep, President, Students council proposed vote of thanks. Dr. Viresh K Chandur, Professor, coordinated the programme.
