REPORT ON FIRST AID AND CPR TRAIING

NSS unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy & Indian Red Cross Society, D.K District, Mangalore in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D.K District, Local Branch, Mangalore has organised �First AID and CPR training programme on 12th March 2021. The programe was inaugurated by CA Shantharam Shetty, Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, D.K. District, Mangalore as the chief guest of the inaugural programme. He inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and spoke about the history and organizational programs of Indian Red Cross society.Sri SA. Prabhakar Sharma, Hon. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, D.K. District, Mangalore highlighted the life saving techniques. Dr. A.R.Shabaraya, President, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mangalore and Principal & Director Srinivas College of Pharmacy, presided over the programme. He declared that he would initiate and motivate the students council members to organize such programmes which are highly beneficial to all cross sections of the society.Other guests Dr. Annayya Kulal, National First Aid Trainer, TOT & Chief Medical Officer, Srinivas Group of Colleges, Mangalore, Dr. J.N Bhat, Trainer & Blood Bank Medical Officer, Indian Red Cross Society, D.K. District, Mangalore and Dr. B.R.Bhat, senior trainer, First Aid programme gave live demonstration of different techniques of First Aid.Dr. EVS Subrahmanyam, Prof. & HOD, SCP, Mangalore & Vice President, IPA ,D.K District Local Branch, Mangalore has welcomed and introduced the guests to the gathering.Ms. Ashwini Nayak & Ms. Subbulakshmi anchored the programme. Student council President, Ms. Sharvani, proposed vote of thanks. NSS coordinators Mr. Shripathy D, Mr. Ashoka Shenoy, Mr. Gopikrishna UV, Mr. Abhishek P coordinated the programme.
