A STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON PERSPECTIVES OF ADMINISTRATION

The Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences organized a StateLevel Seminar on "Perspectives of Administration" in the college Auditorium on 7th July 2015 at 10.00am. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Nanjesh Kumar Asst. Professor Department Community Medicine, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mukka, Mangalore. He was also the Chief Guest of the function. Mr. Kishor Kumar Asst. Professor Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences welcomed the gathering. Dr. N.M. Jose, Professor & Principal, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, has delivered the presidential address. The Plenary Session was started by Dr. SHAHUL HAMEED, Asst. Prof. Department of Community Medicine, Srinivas Medical College, Mangalore, who unveiled the theme of seminar and talked about "Rural Health Administration". The second session on "Nursing Information System" was done by Mr. KISHOR KUMAR S. Asst. Professor of Mental Health Nursing, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore. The third session was done by Dr. N.M.JOSE, Professor & Principal, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore, on "Highlights of Nursing Administrative Research". The Fourth session was handled by Prof. YATHI KUMAR SWAMY GOWDA, Professor & Principal, Alva's College of Nursing, Moodbidri, who talked about "Importance of Policy Making in Administration". The afternoon fifth session was continued by Sr. AILEEN MATHIAS, Nursing Supdt., Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore, who talked about "Major Issues and Challenges in Nursing Administration". The sixth session was done by Mrs. M.V.SMITHA, Professor, OBG Nursing, Srinivas Institute Of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore, who talked about "Legal aspects of Nursing Administration". A Pretest & Posttest was conducted by Ms. Ashwini J, Lecturer, in Community Health Nursing, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences. The function was concluded by a valedictory function. Mrs. M.V. Smitha, Professor - OBG Nursing, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, delivered the vote of thanks.
