SRINIVAS INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES ORGANIZES MANEGMA, 2016

MANEGMA 2016, a One day National level Conference on the theme “ The Changing Perspectives of Management, IT and Social Sciences in the Contemporary Environment ” was organized atSrinivas Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) at its Pandeshwar Campus on 7th May, 2016. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. T.N. Sreedhara, Professor & Chairman, Dept. of Business Administration, Mangalore University. Delivering a key-note address after the inauguration Prof. Sreedhara opined that “the present generation should compete with the changes through education and research. Sri Sathu S., A.G.M., Staff Training College, Corporation Bank, Mangaluru delivered a special lecture on the day. Sri CA. A. Raghavendra Rao, President, A. Shama Rao Foundation presided over the inaugural function. In his presidential address Sri Rao opined that the budding researchers should take part in research activities and focus towards publication of their research findings to contribute to their share to the knowledge domain. Dr. P.S. Aithal, Principal, SIMS, suggested measures to improve individual research index by publishing more papers which yield individual satisfaction and benefit to the society. Prof. Shailashri V.T., Head, Commerce & Management, was on the dais. Prof. Subrahmanya Kumar N., Faculty & Convenor of Manegma, 2016 briefed about Manegma. Ms. Evelyne Mlemba, MBA student Coordiantor, Manegma, welcomed the gathering. Principals and faculty members from sister institutions, students attended the conference. Over 110 research papers were presented by the research scholars from the India, Rwanda and Iran in 4 parallel sessions.
