Apprenticeship fair held on 15th July 2016 at SIT Valachil

Srinivas Institute of Technology in association with Board of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai (BOAT) jointly organized one day Apprenticeship job fair at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil campus on 15th July 2016. Around 18 top-notch companies including few public sector companies participated in this event. As many as 1250 candidates from various states attended the company interview and about 110 candidates were offered the apprenticeship and 70 candidates were shortlisted for next round.

The day started with inaugural function, Mr. Mahadeva Prasad, Placement officer, welcomed the gathering, Mr. Suresh Kumar, Assistant Director, Board of Apprenticeship Training was the chief guest. In his key note address he emphasized the importance of such event to the aspiring candidates. Industry representative Mr.Chandaragi, General Manager, HR, Karnataka Antibiotics Limited was guest of honor. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology presided over the function. and Mr. Guruprasad Pai, Assistant Placement Officer rendered the vote of Thanks.
