Teacher's Day function at 7th September 2016

Teachers Day was celebrated on 07th September 2016 in our esteemed institution, as a tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Beginning of the colorful programme was marked by lighting of the lamp by our beloved Dean, Prof. Dr. Manoj Varma, Prof. Dr. Lavanya Varma, HOD, Dept. of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Prof. Dr. Shailesh Kudva, HOD, Dept. of Oral Pathology and Mr. Abhishek Poojary, President of Student Council. Prof. Dr. Manoj Varma and Prof. Dr. Shailesh Kudva gave the Teacher's Day speech, acknowledging the contribution of the teachers to the society. The students presented the teachers with special handcrafted gifts made by them as a token of gratitude. The celebration included dance programme by students and a flash mob by teachers. Students also conducted various fun activities for teachers. Prizes were announced for best selfie and dubsmash inter department competition. The celebration concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Nidhish, III BDS student.
