Screening and Awareness Programs

These included Pandeshwar, Valachil, and Souterpet. Similar programs were conducted at Community Health Center (CHC) in Mulki and the Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) in Jeppu. These outreach programs targeted the local population and involved regular oral check-ups, screening for precancerous lesions and tobacco-related conditions, as well as distribution of IEC materials to patients, bystanders, local vendors, and shopkeepers in the vicinity.These efforts aimed at creating a ripple effect of awareness across communities, especially in areas with high prevalence of tobacco use.
