Faculty Development Program

The program featured expert talks by Dr. Sreevidya, Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, and Dr. Sandeep, Senior Lecturer from the same department. Their sessions covered a wide range of topics, including oral health awareness, identification of harmful oral habits, and practical strategies for prevention and cessation of tobacco use. The speakers also highlighted the crucial role educators play in curbing substance abuse among students.Special emphasis was placed on how faculty can serve as role models and motivators for youth, helping to reduce the prevalence of tobacco use through education and early intervention. The event served as a platform to sensitize educators on the importance of integrating health awareness into academic environments.
