Dental Treatment Camp at FPAI, Udupi

A dental treatment camp was successfully conducted at the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Udupi branch, as part of the National Public Health Dentistry Day celebrations. The camp was jointly organized by the FPAI and the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences. Faculty members from the departments of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Public Health Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery actively participated in the event, contributing to its smooth execution and success. The camp commenced at 10:00 am with a brief inaugural function, following which dental check-ups and treatments were provided to the attendees. A range of treatments, including oral prophylaxis, restorative procedures, and tooth extractions, were carried out based on the patients' needs. A total of 82 individuals underwent dental check-ups, out of which 45 received various forms of treatment. The camp concluded by 2:00 pm, marking a meaningful contribution towards improving oral health awareness and care among the local community.
