WORKSHOP ON BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics organized a Basic Life Support skill learning program in collaboration with Tech 2 People Health Care and Education Pvt Limited, a recognized training centre of American Heart Association on 18 Mar 2022The program commenced with a prayer song and lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Prof ( Dr) Prashanth Shetty. HOD Dept of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics addressed the gathering. Dr Pavitra Sampath gave a brief introduction of the BLS course. Dean (Prof)Dr. K.Reshma Pai graced the occasion with her valuable inputs.The resource person for the BLS workshop were Ms Lavanya, Ms Shanthi, Mr Gururaj and Mr Prashanth. Dr Bettina Ashwini Vergis delivered the vote of thanks. Dr Shivangi was the master of ceremony.The ceremony was followed by the BLS training which included a demonstration of CPR for adults children and infants, including management of choking. At the end of the training a written and practical test was conducted to evaluate the knowledge on clinical intervention of the participants, thus qualifying them for certification.
