Seminar on Ragging Awareness and Prevention 2023 Listen Ragging is a Crime

The Anti-ragging committee of Srinivas institute of dental sciences, mukka, mangalore conducted a seminar on ragging awareness and prevention titled Listen - Ragging is a Crime on 10th November 2023. Dr. Shiva Sharan Shetty, Member, Karnataka State Dental Council, Member, Dental Council of India and Adv. Prof. Pavithra Kumari, Dean Aviation Science, Srinivas University were the invited authorities for the program. The Program commenced with a prayer song and lighting of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries and the newly enrolled students.The Dean and Head of the department of Pedodontics Prof. K. Reshma Pai welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. Praveen Shetty, Nodal officer, Anti Ragging Committee and Head of the department of Orthodontics introduced the Invited Authorities.Dr. Shiva Sharan Shetty addressed the menace of ragging and highlighted the measures to be taken for prevention of the same. Adv. Prof. Pavithra Kumari spoke about the legal aspect of ragging.Prof. Dr. Hemanth M, Head of the department Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology proposed the Vote of Thanks. Dr. Renilda and Dr. Anvika were the Masters of ceremony for the Program.
