Srinivas Institute Of Dental Sciences saw the celebration of Oral Hygiene Day ( 1st August) with the Department Of Periodontology conducting a series of 5 back to back camps for the population needing special care and attention all through the month of August. In collaboration with the Rotary club Mangalore Hillside, Srinivas Institute Of Dental Sciences took up Schools for special needs people in and around Mangalore to educate, create awareness and reinforce oral hygiene measures all in unique and specific ways to cater to their needs under the banner of Sukrithi. The camp consisted of 1. Educational Skits2. Informative games 3. One to one training and demonstration 4. Giving of personalised oral kits along with powered tooth brushes provided by Rotary Club Mangalore Hillside 5. Dental check up and remedies offered in the presence of parents and caregivers.
