SEMINAR ON RAGGING AWARENESS AND PREVENTION 2022

The anti-ragging committee of Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, Mangalore conducted a seminar on Ragging Awareness and Prevention on the 12th of July 2022. Dr. Suresh B.S., member of the Dental Council of India (DCI) and Principal, Subbiah Institute of Dental Sciences, Shivamoga was the resource person for the event. The program commenced with a prayer song and lighting of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries. The dean and HOD of department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (Prof) Dr. K. Reshma Pai, welcomed the gathering. (Prof) Dr. Praveen Shetty, nodal officer, Anti-ragging committee enlisted the activities carried out by the anti-ragging committee and introduced the resource person. The resource person for the program (Prof) Dr. Suresh B.S., member of the Dental Council of India and Principal, Subbiah Institute of Dental Sciences, Shivamoga addressed the menace of ragging and highlighted the measures to be taken for prevention of the same. He was felicitated by the dean on behalf of the Institute and management in recognition for his contribution as an honourable member of the Dental Council of India. Dr. Apoorva Kamath proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Renilda and Dr. Joanna were the masters of ceremony for the program.
