Oral screening awareness and treatment camp on 19/03/23 (Sunday)

Dr.Sreevidya, Dr.Ardra, Dr.Sulochana, Dr.Dibakar , Dr.Shivangi Interns :Dhanyashree, Dona, Geethagouri, Gourinandana, kavya, Bibi, chayashree, devika, deeksha, Aysha, Sana,Rukiyah IVth year students : Hiba, haneena, Haifa, hafeesa, drishya, della, dakshetha, jiyan.Venue: Near state bank, Mangalore Time :10.00 am to 3.30 pm An oral screening awareness and treatment camp was conducted near state bank, Mangalore on 19/03/23 from 10.00am to 3.30pm by staffs and students.As a part of celebration of world oral health month from March 20th to April 19th, a street play was enacted in front of people to create awareness towards oral health maintenance and to avoid negligence in oral health practices. An oral health talk was given by Dr Sreevidya after the street play.A total number of 75 patients was screened and 53 patients were treated for various dental problems. Those who wanted advanced treatment were referred to college. Team left the site by 3.30 pm. Total number of patients registered and screened : 75 Total number of patients treated : 53 Various treatment like scaling, restoration, extraction, pit and fissure sealant and fluoride application were performed.
