Srinivas Institute of Dental sciences Mukka Mangalore hosted the inauguration of orientation ceremony of its 13th batch of BDS “AARAMBH” on 07/11/2024. The function was inaugurated and was presided over by Dr CA. A Raghavendra Rao Honourable Chancellor Srinivas University and President A Shama Rao Foundation Mangalore University and the chief guest was Prof (Er) Smt. Mitra S Rao, Trustee, Board of Governors Srinivas University and Secretary A Shama Rao Foundation. They addressed the gathering and motivated the students through their inspiring speeches. Dean Prof (Dr) K Reshma Pai welcomed the guests and spoke about the Ranks obtained by the Students in RGUHS examinations and welcomed the new batch. Prof (Dr.) Hemanth M Head of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology gave a brief introduction on the BDS curriculum. Senior Students and Interns spoke about their experiences in the institution. New batch Students and Parents shared their views on dentistry and the Institution Prof (Dr) Praveena Shetty Head of Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics proposed the vote of thanks and programme was concluded with National Anthem
