MOTHER ORTHODONTIST-On the occasion of Orthodontic awareness week.

Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, Mangaluru in association with Mangalore Orthodontic Study Group has conducted a unique awareness program on the occasion of Orthodontic awareness week “Mother Orthodontist “on 8th October. Dean Prof (Dr) K. Reshma Pai inaugurated the program and stressed upon importance of public awareness programs. MOSG convenor Dr Mithun Naik gave insight of aim of Orthodontic awareness week. Department Head Prof (Dr) Praveen Shetty gave awareness talk on role of the mothers in early orthodontic care and treatment possibilities in orthodontics. There were more than 70 mothers attended . Prof (Dr) Siddarth Kotian proposed vote of thanks. Senior Lecturers Dr Renilda and Dr Sushmitha were the master of ceremony.
