Oral Health Awareness Talk and Dental Screening Camp

An Oral Health Awareness Talk and Dental Screening Camp was successfully conducted for the first-year engineering students of Srinivas Institute of Technology. Held over two days, on October 9th and 14th, 2024, the program saw enthusiastic participation from more than 400 students.The talk focused on the importance of oral hygiene, preventive measures, and various treatment options available to maintain good oral health. The students were also introduced to the different dental departments in our college and the types of treatments offered in each specialty, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of dental care. students also underwent a dental screening to identify any existing oral health issues. After the screening, proper oral hygiene instructions and individualized treatment details were provided to each student, ensuring they received the necessary guidance for maintaining their oral health.
