Dental Photography workshop and Hands on EXCEL THE PIXEL

A Dental Photography workshop and Hands on EXCEL THE PIXEL was organized by the Department of Orthodontics on 1st October 2024. The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of dental professionals in capturing high-quality dental photographs.The program commenced with a prayer and welcoming of dignitaries, followed by the lighting of the lamp. Prof. Dr. Praveen Shetty, Head of the Department, Department of Orthodontics, delivered the welcome address, who emphasized the importance of dental photography in modern dental practice.Our Dean Prof. Dr. K Reshma Pai delivered the keynote address, expertly setting the stage for the day's events. Our own distinguished faculty, Dr. Apoorva Kamath, Dr. Renilda Berylswan, and Dr. Sushmita Batni Rao, led the workshop, sharing their expertise through comprehensive lectures and hands-on sessions that provided valuable insights into dental photography. Postgraduate students from various dental specialties actively participated in this comprehensive workshop. The participants gained invaluable insights into the fundamentals of dental photography, clinical applications, and tips for achieving exceptional results.Dr. Dilip Daniel Quadros proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource persons, participants, and organizing team.Special appreciation was extended to the Master of Ceremonies, our interns Dr. Shabla and Dr. Sharada, for their impeccable coordination and hospitality.The Department of Orthodontics would like to thank all the Postgraduate students and interns of our department for their tireless efforts in making this workshop a resounding success.The program concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants, marking the end of a highly informative and engaging workshop.
