Basic care and life support from 23rd September to 25th September 2024

Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences in collaboration with RGUHS Jeevaraksha Trust organised a hands on training programme “Basic care and life support” from 23rd September to 25th September 2024 for the interns and the post graduates. The programme was inaugurated by Prof Dr Reshma Pai, Dean Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences and senior instructors of BCLS. Prof Dr Reshma Pai addressed the students and explained the need for BCLS training to become a better clinician and be equipped to handle any emergency that they may come across. Prof Dr Rajeeth Shetty Dept of OMFS and BCLS Program co coordinator welcomed the guests and instructors. The programme consisted of teaching various skills required for emergency life support like CPR, Choking, haemorrhage control, use of AED.
