Oral Screening Camp At Vidyadayinee English Medium School Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences As a part of the departmental activities an oral health awareness and dental screening camp was conducted on 22/07/2024 and 23/07/2024 at Vidyadayinee English Medium High School, Hosabettu, Surathkal.A dental screening camp was conducted for students from LKG to 10th standard. A total of 900 students were screened during the camp. During the camp, students learned proper brushing techniques and how to their maintain oral hygiene. They were educated on the importance of oral health and its connection to overall well-being. Furthermore, they were advised on when to visit a dentist and the importance of seeking dental care promptly. To reinforce these lessons, a child demonstrated the brushing techniques to other children after being shown by the postgraduate students. Overall, the camp was successful in educating the students about oral health and providing them with the information and skills necessary to practice proper dental hygiene
