Oral screening camp

Oral Screening Camp at Vidyadayinee Kannada Medium School Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental SciencesAs a part of the departmental activities an oral health awareness and dental screening camp was conducted on 25/06/2024 at Vidyadayinee Kannada Medium High School, Hosabettu, Surathkal. A dental screening camp was conducted for students from 1st standard to 7th standard. A total of 400 students were screened during the camp. During the camp, students were educated on proper brushing techniques and oral hygiene maintenance. They were also briefed on the significance of oral health and its impact on overall well-being. To reinforce the learning, a child demonstrated the brushing techniques to other children after being shown by the postgraduate students.Overall, the camp was successful in raising awareness about oral health among the students and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain good oral hygiene.
