Oral health awareness and dental screening camp

Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences As a part of the departmental activities an oral health awareness and dental screening camp was conducted on 21/6/2024 at Aided Kalavar Higher Primary School and Kalavar Pre Primary/Primary/Higher Primary English Medium School, Chelairu Dental Screening of students from Nursery to 7th standard was done. Students were educated on brushing techniques and oral hygiene maintenance, while parents as well as students were briefed on the significance of oral health and its impact on overall well-being. Interns presented a skit to raise awareness about management of avulsion of teeth and distributed informative pamphlets at the end of the camp.
