OMFS DAY

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Day is celebrated on February 13 to commemorate the contributions Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons make to society around the world and to raise the profile of the specialty.The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences organised Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Week with competitions like E-poster presentations and paintings on road safety and soap carving. The event was concluded on February 16, 2023. The gathering was addressed by Dean Prof. Dr. K Reshma Pai and the OMFS faculty members. Madam stressed the need for wearing helmets and for road safety. She also encouraged the students to take up OMFS as a career option. The event was then followed by the distribution of prizes to the winners of the competition.
