The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)
organized CPR awareness Programme under the guidance of Ministry for Health and Family Welfare on 6th December, at 9.30 am across the country to spread awareness and impart training to thousands of youths and non-medical personnel to administer CPR in a proper manner.This is the first CPR awareness program in the country that has been conducted on a national level.During this campaign, participants including students, professionals and paramedical staff were given training in a single sitting through an online medium. The programme comprised of a short video explaining the participants about the benefits of CPR and methodology to administer it.As a part of this awareness campaign, Srinivas Institute of Dental Science conducted the CPR awareness programme. Along with the informative video, discussion of multiple emergency case scenarios and demonstration on how to use AED device was given to the gathering.
