Makara Sankranti celebration

Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences celebrated the festivals of Makara Sankranti, Pongal, Lohri and Bihu on 13th January 2025 at the college premises. Prof.(Dr.) Praveena Shetty inaugurated the program. He spoke about the importance of the Sankranti festival. Students performed folk dance, folk songs related to Sankranti and Lohri festivals. Various competitions like Rangoli, kite making competition, pot painting competition were held and prizes were distributed to the winners. Program culminated with flying kites by students and staff members. The program was well organised by the Student Council Batch the Team Ryzentronz.
