Under the Banner of ‘Amna’, the Women’s Cell of Srinivas Institute Of Dental Sciences, Mukka, is born a vision and initiative on International Women’s Day 2023 - ‘Pink Goes Green’ A multifaceted project that focuses on the virtues of 1. Going green and being environment friendly 2. Maintaining Sustainability 3. De cluttering our homes 4. The joy of gifting 5. And above all Charity This Women’s Day, we shed the tag of ‘Being Pink’ and go Green for Green is the colour of nature friendlinessgrowth prosperity.While enough has been spoken of empowering the women and gender equality in institutions, it’s high time this reached the women of the lower strata of society. The downtrodden and victims of innumerable abuses, with no one to turn to Pink Goes Green is a simple but far reaching project that aims to collect hardly used or like new maintained clothes, bags, and anything else one can find, to resell or gift to a less fortunate whose world would be different getting this. While it helps innumerable ways, the greatest impact lies in its ability to collect funds to provide for shelter homes that house and cater to the needs of women who are victims of 1.
