ISPPD TEACHER'S DAY (WEEK)

Staff, Postgraduate and Interns from the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences celebrated the occasion of teacher’s day & as a part of ISPPD Teacher’s Day (Week) organised a program by conducting various online and offline activities for teachers of adopted schools from 04-09-2021to11-09-2021 under the guidance of Dean, Prof.(Dr.)Manoj Varma.The programme was commenced by Prof(Dr.) K.Reshma Pai, Head of the Department, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, where she highlighted the vital role of a teacher in a child’s life and also gave a brief talk regarding various ways to tackle the ongoing pandemic situation. Inter-School teacher’s quiz competition was conducted between the schools. Questionnaire based Survey was conducted among the teachers in order to assess the awareness about oral health and an Oral Health Awareness talk was given by Dr. Bhagyashree K.V, Post Graduate student. Dental screening camp was conducted for teachers of the adopted schools. The program was concluded by felicitation of principals and certificates to quiz winners, and a pre-recorded Role-Play videos was sent to teachers to understand their role& enhance their knowledge on management of dental emergencies in schools.
