Continuing dental education (CDE) programme and Hands on workshop – GROW RIGHT Class II correction:

Department of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, Srinivas institute of dental sciences organized a continuing dental education programme and Hands on workshop – GROW RIGHT Class II correction on 28-02-2023 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm in association with Mangalore orthodontic study group.The Chief Guest for the day was Prof.Dr.U.S.Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean, A.B.Shetty Dental College, Course director was Prof.Dr.ChetanV.Jayade, Director, Centre for orthodontic education and Consultant orthodontist at Jayde’s multispecialty dental care, Hubuli, Karnataka.Prof.Dr.Praveen Shetty, Organizing Chairman and Head of the department of orthodontics welcomed the gathering followed by lighting of the lamp.Department logo was revealed by Prof.Dr.Reshma Pai, Dean, Srinivas institute of dental sciences followed by release of a booklet “GROW RIGHT “A PARENT TEACHER GUIDE, by Prof.U.S.Krishna Nayak accompanied by Prof.Dr.ChetanV.Jayade,Prof.Dr.ReshmaPai,Prof.Dr.Praveen Shetty ,Prof.Dr.DilipQuadros and Dr.ArjunNayak,MOSG Convenor.During this programme Prof.U.S.Krishna Nayak was Felicated for his achievements and for being an inspiration to all of us.Prof.Dr.Siddharth.R introduced our course director Prof.Dr. Chetan V.Jayade.We had a day long lecture and Hands on workshop on class II correction for more than 70 postgraduates and faculty members.Vote of thanks was given by Prof.Dr.DilipQuadros, Organizing Secretary.We thank all our neighboring college Head of the departments, faculty members and all MOSG members for gracing the occasion.
