CONS AND ENDO DAY

The department of Conservative dentistry and Endodontics celebrated Cons and Endo Day on 5th March, 2022. Various competitions were organized such as En'decor, Beedinataka(street play) , Endo-Chefs(Cooking without fire )and Endozzle(Quiz). An inaugural function was held, where Dr Prashanth Shetty, Head of Department, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, addressed the gathering. The Dean, Dr K Reshma Pai, shared her thoughts on the occasion. Dr Pavitra delivered the vote of thanks. Prize distribution was also conducted. Interns( Dr Tejaswini Anand, Dr Mitte Suma and Dr Rachana.B.K) won the first prize while final year students ( Prerana, Shritha, Shifali) won the second prize for En'Decor. Street plays were enacted by the students in kannada and english. The first prize was bagged by the Second year students while the second prize was bagged by the Final year students.Third year students (Thameema, Haifa, Nasreen) won the first place for cooking without fire; Second year students (Harshini, Adrine, Alisha) won the second place. The winners for Quiz competition were : First prize: Interns( Dr Pooja, Dr Aarti, Dr Nikhila) Second prize: First year ortho P. Gs ( Dr Chraseeta, Dr George, Dr Ajay) Overall, the focus was to increase awareness among general public regarding oral health while encouraging the students to express their creative talent.
