CDE program on CBCT-Indications & Interpretations in Implantology & other Dental Specialties

A CDE program on CBCT-Indications & Interpretations in Implantology & other Dental Specialties was organised by the Department of Prosthodontics, Crown, Bridge & Implantology on 13/03/2023.The guest speaker for the day was the well known Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist and director of OroMax Imaging Centre, Dr. Sham Kishor K. The program commenced with the prayer and welcoming of dignitaries followed by lighting of the lamp. Professor Dr. Nitesh Shetty, organizing chairman & Head of the Department of Prosthodontics, Crown, Bridge and Implantology welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest speaker for the day.This was followed by Dr. Sham Kishor K addressing the gathering regarding the importance of CBCT in various dental fields.The dean Professor Dr. K Reshma Pai, addressed the gathering in her presidential note. The dean Professor Dr. K Reshma Pai along with the HOD of Department of Prosthodontics, Crown, Bridge and Implantology Professor Dr. Nitesh Shetty and Professor Dr. Giridhar Kamath presented a memento to the guest speaker Dr. Sham Kishor K.The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sapna Chengappa, Reader, Department of Prosthodontics, Crown, Bridge and Implantology. The podium was then handed over to Dr. Sham Kishor K to commence the CDE workshop which included faculty, post graduate students and house surgeons from various dental colleges.In his lecture he emphasized the importance and need for CBCT in clinical diagnosis. Hands on workshop included in-depth interpretation of case scenarios involving different dental specialties.The program was concluded by Professor Dr. Nitesh Shetty presenting the certificate of appreciation to Dr. Sham Kishor K.
