World cancer day celebrated on 4/2/24

On account of World Cancer Day which is celebrated on the 4th of Feb , we the faculty along with interns and students at Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences Mangaluru conducted few events to highlight the theme “Close the care gap - Everyone deserves access to cancer care”. Screening of all the patients was conducted in the department.The following events were conducted Quiz competition Pick and speak Slogan writing All the students actively participated in the competition. We were acknowledged by our students about awareness , causes ,risk factors , signs and symptoms ,examination and treatment about oral cancer .
