Here at the Department of orthodontics, patients benefit from treatment rendered in terms of improvement of facial profile, tooth alignment via treatment with fixed and removable appliances.
When young patients present with jaw proportion disharmonies we render treatment in terms of functional appliances to restore the functional imbalances between the soft tissues, promote favourable growth, restrict factors causing unfavourable growth, and thereby bring about balance of facial harmony and improved esthetics.
In adult cases, when the malocclusion has been well established we are able to bring about changes of the facial profile and proportions through the application of orthognathic surgical procedures preceded and succeeded by orthodontic treatment to align teeth and settle the occlusion within permissible limits.
We also participate in the comprehensive rehabilitation of cleft lip and palate cases to aid in the regularization of facial development during the growing phases and adjunctive treatment for adults to improve their appearance, enhance the function and rebuild the self-confidence.
Overall, we offer treatment aid to procure functional efficiency esthetic harmony and structural balance.
